I Am a Tourist, How Should I Act?

Obviously, traveling is considered one of the people's favorite occupation during vacations. In addition, a person constantly prepares him/herself in many aspects whether financial or psychological. However, what really concerns many people is how they can understand the culture or and the customs of the country they are traveling to. In other words, how a person can cope with cultural differences between his/her home country and the country that he or she is going to. First, the difference in language represents one of the biggest issues that people face when traveling throughout the world. Second, each nation has its own culture and its own traditions, and these differences might sometimes are varied between a nation and another; therefore, people might have problems to understand or to deal with these various habits. For example, people who live in a strict religious system, such as in Saudi Arabia, in which women don't go out without covering their bodies completely, most of the time people get confused and they don't know what to do if they travel to the countries where women have more freedom in dressing. Maybe adults can cope with this and get familiar with it, but the problem is with children; how can parents explain this complicated difference to their children, who are accustomed to seeing women in certain dress and now they see the opposite exactly. In this case, what we may suggest here is that we ought to teach our children these differences in traditions and cultures; thus we can ensure that they won't get shocked in the future.

A journy to Chartless

It can be obvious that tourists usually seek interesting places to travel to. Areas that have nothing new or unusual might not be preferred for travelers to visit. In addition, we can say that humans during history are used to loving exploring the places that are abandoned or unknown. For me, I do the same thing; I am quite excited to do or make expeditions to the places that are considered vague. First, you will have such good opportunities to see, enjoy, and examine things that other people haven’t ever known or heard about. Next, these places satisfy my need in terms of curiosity, and the feeling I usually have after I know what was before unknown can’t be described. Furthermore, in our world these days, I personally think that there is no place that deserves to be visited except unexplored islands or forests. Based on a personal experience, I think that we are unable to examine new experiences if we just travel among countries, since you won’t see that huge differences. We are living in a world that mostly shares everything, and you will probably taste and enjoy the same experiences everywhere. Therefore, I would strongly recommend that people who look for unforgettable vacations or real journeys, to think seriously about the places that they haven’t known that they are exist.

Planes, The Biggest Change in Transportation World

As is known, transportation has been progressed throughout history; and people were usually concerned about what the appropriate way that to transport themselves quickly and safely. In fact, for the long journeys I do prefer to travel through the air by a wonderful plane rather than use other ways. Indeed, there are several reasons that encourage me to choose traveling by a plane. First, there is no doubt that the fastest way for people to reach their destinations in our era is to travel by plane. Next, although the world has faced number of dreadful planes accidents, the rates and studies show that the planes is/are still the safest transportation recently. Furthermore, one of oldest dreams that a human is still works hard to achieve is to fly as birds; therefore, I believe that traveling by plane might be considered to be the key for this dream, through the points of view of some people. In conclusion, all the above is applied to me, and I would add something is important for me which is that I am crazy about terrific images and visuals, and being in a plane that gives me what I am really interested in.

Minneapolis, The North Star

Since I am not going to complete my study at SIU-Carbondale, I decided to visit several places around the United States in order to explore them and find the most appropriate for me. I have visited St. Louis, Denver, Seattle, and other locations. Indeed, I haven’t found such a wonderful place to live in as Minneapolis, MN. First of all it is a grand city, so you have a good opportunity to meet many people from different nations and races. Next, now that Minneapolis is a large city, a visitor would have many housing, food, shopping options; also there are many interesting and tourist - related places that a visitor would like to see and take pictures at. Moreover, the city provides a lot of fun places that a family might like, such fun lands and six flags. On the other hand, what I didn’t like about Minneapolis was its weather; it is extremely cold In the winter and most of the year is still cold; however, for those who usually take their vacations during the summer, they might not face any problem with the climate, since it is wonderful in that season. Finally, I strongly recommend my friends to visit Minneapolis, without doubt it is not as gorgeous as Hawaii, but for those who seek place for tourism place while saving their money at the same time, Minneapolis is one of the best places to achieve this dream or this hard formula.
